"Variety's the very spice of life, that gives it all its flavor.”
Welcome. As you will see, I write in different genres. My writing matches my mood – some days I dream of an apocalyptic future, and other days I dream of wizards living in mysterious towers. I inhabit the worlds I write about, seeing them as a movie in my mind, with scenes, transitions, and fadeouts. I’ve been this way all my life, and writing has given me the opportunity to share these stories with you. Enjoy!

Full-length western romance, Mary's Heart, is on sale now through December 31, 2013. It's just $.99 on Amazon!
Mary Edwards is the only child of an uncaring mother and an absent father. Shortly after her eighteenth birthday, Mary discovers that her father had signed an agreement when she was born that requires her to marry a man she has never met. As her father lies near death, her mother, eager to rid herself of Mary and her husband, sends Mary to Colorado alone to marry Cal Zook, a destitute rancher, with the excuse of fulfilling their agreement.
Cal Zook has no desire for a wife, and when he learns that Mary is on her way, seeks a lawyer's advice on how to avoid the marriage. Since his father was his legal guardian at the time the documents were signed, Cal is bound to the terms and must marry Mary, or lose his ranch.
When Mary arrives in Silver, Colorado, she and Cal are married, but neither is ready to be a "proper" spouse. Cal must overcome his fear of attachment, brought on by a tragedy in his past, and Mary must learn to believe that she is the kind and loving woman everyone else can see.
Mary's Heart is an old-fashioned, sentimental romance that will warm your heart. Mary grows from a naïve young girl into a wise woman, who enriches the lives of those around her. You will remember her long after you finish the last page of Mary's Heart.
